How Can chest Pain Along With Breathlessness Be Treated?

I have had a fluttering feeling all afternoon in my chest between my breast with a slight shortness of breath. I was sick the past week with some type of respiratory condition but never went to the doctor. Was in bed for two days coughing up green mucus. Just treated myself with cough medicine. Could I have pneumonia without any fever? Last week when I was in the bed my chest hurt severely above my left breast now this fluttering in my chest. Not sure what to do.

Hi,

By what you say the possibilities are -
1. Palpitations secondary to premature ventricular contractions.
2. Conduction abnormalities of the heart.
3. Idiopathic palpitations.

I suggest you go to the nearest Emergency Room and get an EKG done, please.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
